POSITION / DESIGNATION

Asst Vice President- Taxation

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage all direct tax/indirect tax compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
  • Build relationships and liaise with various tax authorities for refunds, notices, department audits etc.
  • Responsible for implementation tax changes in various systems of to ensure accurate compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
  • Conduct process checks and review to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures and implementing best practices.
  • Identify key areas of tax risk within the organisation and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.

 

  • Assist the development of an internal control culture, including training to staff.

  1. WORK EXPERIENCE

10 to 12 years’ experience in direct and indirect taxation.
