Job description

Job Title: Manager/ Sr. Manager Department: Corporate Taxation

Function: Family Office

Reporting to: DGM, Finance

Brief about the Job

The professional will be a part of tax team of Shareholders Office and will be responsible for preparation of submissions for assessments, filing of Income Tax Returns and GST Returns, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual MIS for senior management.

Deliverables (Key responsibilities)

 Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Companies, Individual, Firms, Trusts.
 Coordinate and finalization of Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Audit from the tax perspective
 Filing of Tax Audit reports, TP Certificate, Income Tax returns, TDS returns, GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9C etc
 Prepare for the matters before AO, filing an appeal before the TPO, DRP, CIT (A
 Follow up for the demand rectifications and refund application with Tax Authority.
 Monthly litigation report for direct tax matters and monthly statutory payment and reconciliation thereof
 Coordinating & preparing Form 15CB and Form 15CA over the IT website for foreign remittance
 Consolidate the Monthly MIS data including monthly tax computation and deferred tax on a monthly & quarterly and annual basis.
 Corporate Tax Advisory for strategic issues and complex tax matters including business reconstruction.
 Due Diligence on international tax issues such as Cross Border Transactions, DTAA aspects, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing, Permanent Establishments
 Drafting letters & correspondence for Income Tax department.
 Drafting of opinions to be given on various direct tax issues including doing in-depth study of the matter, etc.
 Preparation of legal and factual submission for filing and representation before assessments & E- Assessment Authorities in regular assessments, re-assessments etc.

Role Requirement:
 Chartered Accountant with around 10 years of post-qualification experience.
 Candidates with Direct Tax background a must
 Expert technical knowledge in terms of understanding legislation
 Excellent written and Verbal Communication & Presentation Skills
 Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
