Job Description

PKC Management Consulting is looking for Assistant Manager in Management Consulting department in Chennai.

Natures of projects done in Management Consulting are:

  • Process & internal controls consulting.
  • Supply chain efficiency.
  • ERP & process implementation.
  • Production improvement using TOC concepts.
  • Working capital optimization.
  • Cost optimization.
  • Start-up business plan, feasibility & investor pitches.
  • Sales & profit improvement.
  • Business strategy.
  • Organization structuring.
  • Employee performance management systems, etc.

 The candidate will lead client team(s) for the above types of projects. The role varies based on the nature of the project, but would broadly include:

  • Lead teams of 2-8 members in performing the above projects for clients.
  • Provide practical solutions to business problems by identifying gaps and inefficiencies in current working.
  • Prepare for & lead reviews with client CEOs & other senior management.
  • Meet client employees in different departments & levels to enable effective implementation of suggested processes & solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, etc.
  • Train in-house talent to acquire consulting skill-sets.

Required Experience:

  • Qualified / Semi-Qualified CA.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Management Advisory department.

Preferred Experience:

  • Employees of reputed audit firms wishing to make a career shift into management consulting.
  • Employees from management consulting depts. Of firms such as Big 4, PKF S&S, Grand Thornton, etc.
  • Experience in process & supply chain consulting.
  • Experience in ERP implementation on SAP Business and Tally.
  • Great problem-solving skills & communication (English compulsory; Tamil preferable).
  • Has lead teams & is driven to work independently.
