Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary)

The role will responsible for

  • Billing solution and support for sales team, help set up and on-board customers
  • Understand systems and processes and capability to provide billing formats and details
  • Understand and explain what MIS can or cannot be provided
  • Revenue reporting and reconciliation
  • Understand revenue accounting processes, extracting reports ,reversal and provision of unbilled revenue
  • Help to Implement, manage and innovate usingthe world class Billing Revenue & Innovation Management (BRIM) software procured by the company
  • Understand SAP ECC processes, check files not updated etc, learn and transition activity from existing team member



Key Result Areas


Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the following activities

Responsible for the following activities

Billing solution and Support

  • Understand end to end process of logistics from pick up to delivery and how it is invoiced to customers
  • Understand data capture in booking , processing and delivery processes
  • Understand customer contracts/ proposals and company ability to meet requirement from billing & MIS perspective
  • Understand customer code creation process and its impact on meeting invoicing requirements
  • Meet internal as well as contractual deadlines, review of invoices and
  • revenue recognition for key customers
  • Participate in monthly close and other billing activities as per tasks assigned
  • Communicate effectively with staff as well as the various departments that play a role in the Sales, Operations Billing and A/R functions.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives, finding solutions to complex billing, revenue and accounts receivable issues.
  • Supportrevenue audit requests and special projects as assigned
  • Support dispute resolution and credit note issuance process


Specific Projects

  • Help monitor and Implement world class Billing Revenue & Innovation Management (BRIM) software procured by the company
  • Support centralisation of billing processes as far as possible while improving productivity


  • Interact with various business teams and provide analysis and inputs as needed
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance against KPIs

Has sound knowledge of revenue accounting and recognition processes. SAP certification or hands on exposure would be necessary. Experience in implementation of IT systems will be a plus.
