Finance Coordinator will have the responsibility of managing and monitoring the fund flow of the finances, preparing the Statement of Expenditures, monitoring the expenditures against the budget, training the team members in preparing financial statements, making their business plans and monitoring their business plans. SEWA is also currently training its members on digital finance. She would be responsible to develope effective tools and methodologies to accelerte the shift from cash to electronic payments and boost the effectivity and efficiency of digital financial services, for which, the need would be to communicate and build relationships with local financial institutions, partner agencies and vendors.
SEWA is a trade union registered in 1972 and is a community-based organization of poor self-employed women members with a membership of over 1.7 million women across 18 states.
