·Years’ of Experience – 4-6 Years of work experience

·Grade – Senior manager / Manager 

·Reporting structure – This person will report into the CFO and one Cost Accountant will be reporting into him

·The major roles and responsibilities will include - Preparation of Annual Operating Plan including Material Balancing and Raw material cost, Preparation of Budgeted Contributions Costing, contribution analysis and MIS for entire company, contribution analysis etc.

·He will have to interact and collaborate with the finance leads and MIS of all plants, overall we have 10 plants spread across 5 states

·Educational background – Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant

·Industry preference – Any industry would work but the incumbent will have to be based out of 6-9 months at the plant to understand the dairy industry operations post which he/she would move to corporate office.

·Candidate Requirement – Strong understanding of costing aspects, Detail oriented, good experience, Strong business acumen

·Soft Skills – Team Management, Collaborative

·Travel required - 0-20% travel

Role Summary:

Role Responsibility:

1. Preparation of Annual Operating Plan including Material Balancing and Raw material cost
2. Preparation of Budgeted Contributions for Annual operating plan for the Company and further segregation into divisions and SKUs
3. Periodic MIS to leadership on contribution and variance analysis along with reasons
4. Update SAP Standards i.e activities like Machine Hour rate, Man hour rate, Power, Steam rate for all Chilling Centers & Plants and Selling & Distribution overheads.
5. Monthly close within the deadlines and variance analysis
6. Monitor adherence of internal controls and ensure effectiveness of controls deployment
7. Reconciliation of SAP contribution and Financial statements
8. Monitoring of Cost Centre Accounting &taking corrective actions to ensure correct booking
9. New Product Costing and profitability estimation
10. Investment Appraisal of New Projects like IRR, NPV, EVA.
11. Handle Cost Audit without any adverse observations
12. Develop and manage stocks verification plan and ensure the count is done as per established processes and corrective actions are taken
13. Periodic MIS -  Monitoring of aged Stocks, under/over absorption of overheads, low contribution products investment etc
14. Preparation of Standalone P&L & BEP calculation for new projects and line of business
15. Monitoring of Sale Price revision for Milk & Milk Products.
16. Lead a team and develop career progression plans
