Job Purpose:
To assist the Finance Manager in developing and implementing finance systems and procedures to support the
organisation through its growth phase and beyond.
Role & responsibilities:

Financial accounting
and reporting
Preparation of Quarterly/half yearly/annual financial statements
Ensure maintenance of proper and updated books of account for all financial
transactions
Ensure that effective systems are in place including:
- Accounting and management information systems;
- Cash and cash flow management and control;
Finalisation and analytical review of MIS reports and dashboard related to financial
information such as overall performance MIS, income dashboard and other regular
reports prepared by team
Ensuring proper month end closure for HO & states
Ensuring Proper data backup mechanism in place for financial records
Monthly ledger scrutiny and tracking of advances and payables
Monthly review of cash flow statements and investment of spare funds to ensure
effective utilisation of funds including keeping track of interest rates to maximize
the interest revenue.
Internal control and
systems
Ensuring internal control over financial reporting mechanism in place
Regular review and system and identification of scope for automation
Ensuing smooth functioning of financials and other related systems
Statutory
compliances and
Others
Representing the organisation on all matters concerning Income Tax, FCRA and
other Govt/ statutory regulations
Income Tax Assessment hearing and documentation.
Compliance with regular statutory obligation such as TDS,PF and others
Coordinating statutory and FCRA audits
Intercompany/ member organisation reconciliation.
Resources Managed / Line Management responsibility:

With other departments within the organization, Auditors and others
