Job Description


  • Keeps track of outstanding and upcoming payments to be made
  • Scrutinizes and approves payment requests
  • Ensures timely payments are made as per commitments made by the user departments
  • Resolves queries raised by internal departments and vendors/contractors
  • Defines and administers the credit policy and standard payment terms in light of business requirements
  • Ensures that any contracts made are in line with the credit policy and standard payment terms
  • Ensures funds are made available and disbursed in line with business agreements
  • Ensures that the management is aware of upcoming payments
  • Scrutinizes payment instruments
  • Ensures compliance with statutory norms and organization requirements
  • Educates all relevant departments about statutory requirements, relevant processes and responds to their queries
  • Responsible for development of self by staying current with the latest industry trends and practices
  • Adheres to the development plan mutually created with the Manager
  • Supports identified innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiencies and effectiveness of the team
  • Ideates and implements innovative solutions/process improvements
  • Budget formulation and finalisation (for site related expenses)
  • Analysis of budget vs actual expenses and ascertaining reasons for the same
  • Payment processing under Oracle platform (any RDBMS system experience will do)
  • Monthly MIS preparation for site related expenses
